Below is a transcript of this week's video message:
Well, hello faithful E-news readers. This is Lance Finley coming to you from the Finley living room here in Findlay, Ohio. For this Christmas week we thought we'd take a little bit different approach.
Of course, this is been a big year of change for our family. We know that's not unique to us. There are many of you that have gone through transitions of various sorts this last year. We just wanted to express our thanks to the church at large. Many of you have been so welcoming and so kind and so supportive of us during this past six months or so. We wanted to thank you and thank you in particular.
Probably the thing that has moved me most over the last few months is the numbers of you that have communicated that you're praying not only for me but for my family and that means a great deal to us. We wanted to say thank you. I know some of you have met my family before and some of you maybe haven't. This is my wife Brenda; this is my youngest son Connor, my oldest son Carter and my daughter Molly. We are just so grateful for the opportunity to serve and we hope that you have a blessed Christmas this week and a wonderful time not only celebrating with your family and the folks you love but also celebrating Jesus and all he has done for us. So from our family to yours we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
